Admissions Requirements
Any person 16 years of age or older is eligible to apply for admission, regardless of previous education. Applicants will be accepted into educational programs in which they demonstrate a reasonable prospect for success. The College reserves the right to admit applicants based upon previous academic achievements and life experiences.
To be accepted to Mitchell Tech and placed in a program, students must meet the admissions requirements of the College and the requirements established for each program. College requirements are as follows:
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or a high school equivalency certificate (GED) for full-time admission. (High school students requesting full-time dual credit status must receive approval.)
- Applicants must complete the established application process as listed.
- Applicants must meet the requirements of each program. (Program requirements are found in each program section of this catalog.)
- Applicants must meet minimum entrance examination scores. (Remedial courses are offered to students desiring to improve their math and English skills.)
If the program is fully enrolled, students will be placed on a waiting list.
