LPN 103 Pharmacology

Designed to provide students with opportunities to develop pharmacological competencies necessary to meet the needs of individuals throughout the lifespan in a safe, legal, and ethical manner. This course contains a basic pharmacological foundation of knowledge of drug classifications and medication prototypes, therapeutic actions, side-effects, and nursing implications. This course introduces students to basic principles of pharmacology, dosage calculations, and the knowledge necessary to safely administer medications.
