Course Audits

Courses may be audited for no credit. There is a $50 per course fee for auditing. You can find the Course Audit form on the Mitchell Tech website - www.mitchelltech.edu. Additional fees, including but not limited to lab and program continuation fees, may apply and will vary by course and program. Contact the Business Office for current rates.

 

In some situations, MTC instructors and administration may require a student to audit a class they have successfully completed in the past. This generally occurs when a student needs to keep skills current. Coursework and grading requirements will be determined by the instructor.

 

Financial aid is not available for audited courses and these courses do not count toward full-time status. Audited courses do not meet graduation requirements. Students enrolled in audited courses only are not eligible for student services.

 

Auditing a course is subject to instructor approval and course capacity limits. Students enrolled for credit have priority for space available in any course. Individuals not accepted to a program may audit a class, but restrictions apply. Contact the Registrar’s Office for details.
