WBT 246 Central Office Transport

This course will focus on the Central Office environment and transport equipment of the telecommunications industry. Upon successful completion of this class, students will be able to work professionally, safely and efficiently in a central office environment. Students will comprehend the digital hierarchy scheme as it applies to the world of telephony. Learning will include the public switched telephone network and its signaling structure.
