CIS 171 Multimedia Concepts

Students will learn to develop digital media content to communicate ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively. Developing digital media content involves purposeful design by incorporating text, graphics, audio, and video into a cohesive message and/or story.  This course will provide detailed instruction on the use of a variety of software/applications to create digital media content/multimedia projects. Software to be utilized in the course includes PowerPoint, Prezi, Adobe Spark, Adobe Page, Adobe Premier Elements, Google Slides, Audacity, Canva, Screencast-O-Matic.  Other software/resources will be explored as time permits.
